The Steel Challenge
Ontario Special Olympics - 2005 Summer Games
The CN Police is proud to be a part of the Ontario Special Olympics - 2005 Summer Games. We would appreciate
it if you and your organization would join us in supporting our local Special Olympians.
This will be the first time the CN Police has hosted the Steel Challenge in the Niagara Region. Our friendly
competition includes pulling a Railway Locomotive - as in a tug-of-war. The 20-person team that pulls the
locomotive in the best time wins. To take part in this event, each team pays a registration fee of $500.00.
The day's events also include prizes, draws, a BBQ, kid's games, and Police, Fire & EMS
displays.
The Steel Challenge is being held at the Niagara Falls VIA Station, located at 4267 Bridge Street, on
Saturday, September 18th, 2004 from 09:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We are expecting approx 400 participants,
volunteers & athletes.
You and your organization can either sponsor a team, and/or donate prizes or merchandise. You and your
company will receive acknowledgement for your donation at the event. Rest assured that your generosity would
be greatly appreciated. All proceeds go to support the Ontario Special Olympics - 2005 Summer Games. These
Games will be held in various locations throughout the Niagara Region. Be a sponsor. Provide opportunities
for our athletes, and fun for all participants!
Again - "Thank you for your generosity."
