Niagara Railway Museum

Welcome to the webpage of the Niagara Railway Museum.
Our goal, through our ever expanding
collection of railway artifacts and through this site, is to preserve and display the railway
history of the Niagara Region in Ontario, Canada.
The Niagara Railway Museum is located in the former Canadian National Railway diesel shop located at 21 Warren Street (
Map) in Fort Erie, ON, however, we are
not currently open to the public. Please check our
News page for any announcements regarding the museum.
We are a non-profit charitable organization run by volunteers.
We are always on the lookout for new items to add to the collection and are interested in
anything that pertains to railways within the Niagara Region.
We have both small items, such as paperwork and pictures, as well as full size railway equipment, such as our 3 boxcars.
On this site is more information about our artifacts, image galleries of many of the railways
that operated in Niagara and information on our activities and projects. We hope you find
something of interest.
