Come and Join Us

The Niagara Railway Museum is a volunteer run charitable organization. There are no paid staff to look after the many different jobs the NRM has to offer. Whether you have lots of experience, or none at all, you are welcome!

We are looking for volunteers interested in the following:

  • Equipment Restoration - including small engine and motor repairs, metal working, woodworking, painting, welding and bodywork.
  • Equipment Operation - Members are given the opportunity to learn how to operate some of the NRM equipment, after a training period.
  • Track - Maintenance and inspection to keep the track in safe working condition.
  • Building - Help keep our building in good working order, both inside and out for the safety of our members and visitors.

If you would like to become involved with the NRM in any of the above areas, just drop us an email and let us know. We'll fill you in on how to get involved, and what is required from you. We offer an enjoyable learning experience with people who wish to preserve our railway heritage.
